Experience in the Residential Sector Buildings and Interiors
James Armitage has been working in the field of architecture for
eighteen years. He is a Registered and Chartered Architect
with considerable experience within the residential sector. This has included liaising with local Planning Authorities and
dealing with builders.
Prior to having set up his own Somerset-based RIBA Chartered Practice in 2007, he worked within two highly
acclaimed firms in London. Here he dealt with a range of residential projects from individual houses to apartment buildings and large-scale housing developments. Examples of these are illustrated opposite.
He is a Professional Member of the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment, a member of the Traditional Architecture Group and The Georgian Group.
