Design work has recently started on a challenging city centre site in Norwich. The one hectare site contains a former shoe factory and is adjacent to two grade I listed churches. The intention is to create a mixed-use development including workspaces, apartments and houses.

We have recently submitted a Reserved Matters planning application for 35 new homes in the East Suffolk town of Framlingham. The architecture take its cue from buildings within the historic town centre, and the layout draws on precedents from nearby villages that are centred on a green.

Having worked closely with our client, we have just submitted a planning application for a new house near Bath. The site is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by mature trees. The client has a particularly interest in Voysey, and this is reflected in the Arts and Crafts character of the house. The walls are in coloured render and deploy Bath stone dressings on the entrance volume.
