MASTERPLAN - SUFFOLK
Framlingham is a delightful market town in East Suffolk. Our proposal, on the edge of the town, draws inspiration both from the historic centre and also the surrounding villages.
The layout centres on a village green and includes extensive parkland, incorporating a play area and perimeter walk.
The project, for developer Leaper Land, provides 35 homes of which 23 are custom-build houses and 12 are affordable houses or flats. Each open-market plot offers customisation options including extensions, internal layouts, bay windows, garages and building materials.
As the custom-build homes need to be detached, particular care was taken to reinforce the street frontage through boundary treatments and planting.
The proposed materials follow those found locally: painted render or red brick for walls; clay tiles (plain or pantile) or slate for the roofs.
