MASTERPLAN - SUFFOLK

Framlingham is a delightful market town in East Suffolk. Our proposal, on the edge of the town, draws inspiration both from the historic centre and also the surrounding villages.

The layout centres on a village green and includes extensive parkland, incorporating a play area and perimeter walk.

The project, for developer Leaper Land, provides 35 homes of which 23 are custom build houses and 12 are affordable houses or flats. Each open market plot offers customisation options including extensions, internal layouts, bay windows, garages and building materials.

As the custom build homes need to be detached, much care and attention was given to reinforcing the street frontage through boundary treatments and planting.

The proposed materials follow those found locally: painted render or red brick for walls; clay tiles (plain or pantile) or slate for the roofs.​​
