The site for this new house is located within the National Landscape between Bath and Bradford on Avon, and is surrounded by mature trees.

The existing bungalow on the plot had been condemned, but we needed to ensure that the new house was as low as possible in order to minimise impact within the sensitive landscape.

​

The client has a particularly interest in Voysey, and this is reflected in the Arts and Crafts character of the house.  The walls are in coloured render and deploy Bath stone dressings.  The roof is in natural slate.
